Role
The purpose of the role is to ensure that cash collections are maximised to ensure that the business maintains a strong cash position and ensuring that all invoicing is done throughout the business in a timely manner.

Your Responsibilities
- The purpose of the role is to ensure that cash collections are maximised to ensure that the business maintains strong cash position and liquidity.
- The role requires that invoicing is done throughout the business in a timely manner and that these are collected in line with the customer’s contract.
- Completing relevant paperwork and setting up new customers within the finance systems.
- Dealing with customer invoice queries and liaising with colleagues to resolve these.
- Raising credit notes.
- Posting and allocating all payments to the finance system.
- Chase outstanding debts by telephone, email, and letter in line with the client credit control schedule.
- Supporting the AR Supervisor & CFO with any other ad-hoc requests.
- Monitoring of the AR e-mail inbox.
Your Competencies
- Must be a strong relationship builder who is confident to speak to customers on the phone and manage any challenges in a calm and professional manner.
- Good IT skills with particular focus on Excel and Accounting Software.
- Time management skills important.
- Team player willing to go the extra mile.
- Ability to work without supervision once training has been provided.
- Knowledge of security or similar industry preferred but not essential.
- Must be able to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and develop themselves.
- Attention to detail.
